Question 01

Can you tell us about the path that led you to create Potion Magique?

The story behind Potion Magique is that of a passion turned into a company, of a second working life guided by deep-seated values. I have always been drawn to good things, cooking flavourful dishes for my family and those close to me. The idea of building a company around artisan products grew out of that love of cooking and out of the conviction that quality and authenticity must sit at the heart of every mouthful.

It was the wish to create a unique taste experience, together with the will to bring meaningful values into my work, that made me decide to bring Potion Magique to life. Closeness to nature, direct contact with customers at local markets, and the way market selling and online selling complement each other are the key elements that define what Potion Magique is.

Every recipe, every product is a story told through flavour. The company is not only an entrepreneurial adventure, but a wish to create moments of sharing, whether at the markets or online.

Question 02

What are the values of Potion Magique? How do they show in your products?

At Potion Magique my work rests on four pillars: good, beautiful, flavourful and simple. These values are not merely words, but commitments rooted deep in every aspect of the company.

For me, “good” goes beyond the pleasure of taste. It is the choice of health and well-being. My products are made to be not only appetising but also good for you. And then, picture the warmth that comes from a good dish shared, the smiles around a soup bar where everyone finds their favourite “potion magique”!

The value “beautiful” shows in a real festival of colour in my products. Bright shades of green, orange, white and purple in my soups, smoothies and gazpachos make a show of it before the first spoonful. It is an invitation to enjoy with the eyes as much as with the palate.

When I speak of “flavourful”, I mean the will to carry authentic flavours through my preparations. My ingredients are chosen with care, with no compromise on quality. I use no sweeteners, no additives and no artificial colourings. All of it to celebrate intense taste, the indulgent side, and the freedom for everyone to make my soups their own.

Lastly, “simple” is my commitment to simplicity at every level. Simple but indulgent recipes, flexible and hassle-free orders and deliveries around Lake Geneva. I honour the artisan tradition with a down-to-earth streak, guaranteeing an easy experience, from choosing the products to handling the glass containers for the smallest possible environmental footprint.

At Potion Magique these values are not just principles, but the ingredients that make every mouthful a unique experience — a blend of flavours, colours, passion and practicality. A foretaste of paradise!

Question 03

On that note, you stand up for gastronomic diversity. Can you tell us more?

Gastronomic diversity stands out through the endless variety of recipes, ingredients and cooking techniques. At Potion Magique I chose to express it as soups, smoothies and other treats. At the heart of that richness lies the careful use of local ingredients, rooting dishes in their own countryside and celebrating regional biodiversity.

This approach supports not only the preservation of traditional know-how but also sustainability, by cutting the environmental footprint tied to shipping food around the world.

By embracing local cooking practices, favouring seasonal ingredients and encouraging sustainable production methods, we forge an essential link between gastronomy and the protection of our precious ecosystem.
